I have added some new links to my blog site. There is one link that I would like all visitors to click on. It is in regards to the lastest news about the NFL Falcon QB who has just been indicted for animal cruelty. It is a link to the US Humane Society which will then forward the message to the NFL commissioner stating that they suspend Vick. As a fur mother of three dogs and two cats I find this story very sad and horrific. I read this somewhere on the Humane Society's webpage but people who tend to support this kind of dog fighting and such have a tendency to also be physically abusive towards their spouses and children.
The other links are for Chinese adoption.

One is our fantastic agency - I am very happy to have used Great Wall, which is based in Austin. Another link is to our adoption journey - Journey to Lily Anne - and the last link is to Rumor Queen -China Adopt Talk which, leads into my next topic.
Rumor Queen is stating that she is getting conflicting reports from different agencies. Three agencies have stated that with the next batch of referrals, sometime in early August, the CCAA (Chinese Center for Adoption Affairs) is going to match the rest of November 2005 LId's and some of the early December 2005 LID's. One agency is telling their December 2005 LID's to expect their referrals in November.

Doesn't really make sense.
Now, how does this affect us - with a LID of 2007. Well, if the rumor about August referrals going to December 2005 is true, then there could possibly be a speed up. But, CCAA just told some agencies that not to expect a speed up. If the rumor, about December 2005 receiving referrals in November, then the wait is still going at a snail's pace. RQ(Rumor Queen) has designated these R1 rumors - which means - they don't have much clout.
Kevin does not like for me to tell him rumors - because there's not much validity - he wants proof. As for me, I like to know the rumors - I tend to stay in the middle - I don't get overly optimistic but I don't disbelieve the rumors either.
So, here's to a big referral for August!
