During the last week of school, I kept hearing Will Smith in my head, so I downloaded 'Summertime' from I-tunes and have been jamming to that in my car. I had to promise David that I wouldn't have it blaring from my car when I picked him up from school. Yes, I think I have become that parent who thinks she's cool but ~ I'm really a dork.
We had our first homestudy visit on the 22nd of May. It went well ~ I bribed him with brownies.
We will meet again this Sunday. After that we will have two more meetings and then we can have our homestudy complete. Meanwhile, I get to run around and consolidate all the paperwork we need to complete the homestudy.
My brother is getting married on the 19th. That is something to look forward to!
It is going to be quite a summer but I wouldn't have it any other way.
